Rescheduling games

There is a great deal of effort that goes into producing schedules each season for our programs.  We hope that coaches respect the work that goes into them and not try to reschedule games.  However, weather and forces outisde our club may require a coach to reschedule a game.  It is the job of the home-team coach to reschedule a game. Listed below are the proceedures for rescheduling games for both the Travel & In-Town programs. 

Travel

U9 & U10

  1. Call the opposing coach and agree on two or three possible times for the make-up game. All games are at Banta Davis; the club has Wednesdays. at 5:45pm and Sundays at 1:00,  2:15, 3:30, and 4:45 pm set aside for make-ups.
  2. Contact CCYS Referee Coordinator Pam Rockwell via or email or phone at at 978-369-8512 or 978-808-9609 and she'll reserve a field and assign a referee. Allow at least three days for referee assignment.
  3. Call other coach and confirm.

U9 to U12

  1. Review the the Concord Carlisle Field Reservation sheet for current field reservations. Note the U9/U10 games are at Banta Davis only.
  2. Contact Referee & Field Coordinator, Pam by email or phone at 978-369-8512 or 978-808-960 to dentify possible times and dates of makeup game.  When contacting her include Game ID, Division playing, originally scheduled time of play and two or three suggestions of potential make-up dates and times .
  3. Call opposing coach and agree on two or threes possible times for the make-up game.
  4. Contact Pam again to reserve a field and referee.
  5. Once confirming email from Pam is received, call opposing coach to confirm.
Please allow three days to complete requests.


In-Town

If a game is cancelled notify the Referee Coordinator as noted in #2 above.

Kindergarten and Grade 1

  1. Check the table of practice fields to find a make-up field.
  2. Talk with the opposing coach and discuss time and day for makeup game.
  3. Email In-Town Administrator , Nancy to confirm availability of field (in case there is another game taking place there).
  4. Confirm with opposing coach.

Grades 2-6

  1. Check the table of practice fields to find a make-up field.
  2. Contact the opposing coach to set a date and time.
  3. Contact Pam, Referee and Field Coordinator, to secure a referee and confirm time, place and field for game.
  4. Contact opposing coach with confirmed field and times.
