Subject: CCHS Field Rules

Dear CCYS Families,

This coming weekend both our in-town and travel soccer programs will be in full swing. Last Saturday we had a very successful open to the travel season with a full slate of games played on the new turf fields at CCHS. This is a tremendous facility and a wonderful asset for our community. The Youth Sports Groups, Recreation Department, and High School would like your help to insure that the fields stay in pristine condition. Please observe the rules posted by the town when attending a game at the new fields. I've copied them below but to summarize:

Many of the rules for the new fields involve food or drink. Once we step from the parking lot into the fenced area surrounding the new fields, the only food or drink allowed is WATER. Other drinks can stain the field surface. The same is true of food, gum or any tobacco product. All post- or mid-game snacks must be consumed in the parking lot. Please deposit any empty water bottles in the recycling barrels located around the field area. Our coaches and players will be responsible for keeping their bench area clean. We ask that our spectators do the same for their sideline.

Concord-Carlisle High School Field Rules
Please observe the following rules posted by the town at the turf fields:

No food or drink permitted on the fields or in the fenced area -
   WATER ONLY
No gum, tobacco products, sunflower seeds, power drinks or juices
No glass containers
No dogs or other animals allowed anywhere on premises
No metal spikes or screw in cleats allowed - only sneakers or
   molded plastic cleats

No sharp objects such as tent stakes or corner markers
No chairs permitted on the playing surface
No bicycles, rollerblades or motorized vehicles permitted on the playing    surface
Also, please do not walk on the recently sodded field across from the turf fields. This field will not be available for use until spring.

Thank you very much for your cooperation.

Sincerely,

Al Antonitis
President, Concord-Carlisle Youth Soccer
