CCYS InTown soccer offers an entry point for players of all skill levels. All players who register on-time are accepted onto a team that matches their grade level.

The spring season runs from May 2nd to June 13th (7 weeks).

Registration for Fall 2026 opens on May, 11 2026 and closes on August 10th, 2026. The season runs from September 19th – November7th (8 weeks). Games take place on Saturdays incl. Indigenous People’s Day weekend. Teams are released to parents end of August. Rosters can be viewed on the AdminSports Family Page.

Pre-K

All PreK players must be 5 by September, 1 2027. Pre-K is coed. One session a week on Saturday.

  • Time: 9am Saturday mornings 

  • Location: All PreK players will play at the same location. - Emerson Oval, Concord. 

  • Cost: $145

  • Uniform: A CCYS t-shirt which is included in the registration fee. Players receive one shirt per soccer year.

Kindergarten

Kindergarten is coed. One session a week on Saturday.

  • Time: 10:30am Saturday mornings 

  • Location: All Kindergarten players will play at the same location. Location - Emerson Oval, Concord

  • Cost: $145

  • Uniform: A CCYS t-shirt which is included in the registration fee. Players receive one shirt per soccer year.

Grade 1

In grade 1, we split into boys and girls teams. One weekday practice and one game on Saturday

  • Game Time: 12 noon Saturday 

  • Practice: All grade 1 players will practice once a week. Practice days and times are determined by the volunteer coach.

  • Game Location: Boys –  Emerson Oval, Concord; Girls – Ripley Field, Concord

  • Cost: $155

  • Uniform: A CCYS t-shirt which is included in the registration fee. Players receive one shirt per soccer year.

Grade 2

One weekday practice and one game on Saturday. Spring teams will play 7 v 7 games.

  • Game Time: Boys 9am Saturday mornings; Girls 10:20am Saturday mornings 

  • Practice: All grade 2 players will practice once a week. Practice days and times are determined by the volunteer coach.

  • Game Location: Spalding Field, Carlisle (both boys and girls)

  • Cost: $165

  • Uniform: All players in grades 2-8 wear a uniform jersey. Please go to Uniforms for information on ordering. 

Grade 3-4

One weekday practice and one game on Saturday. Teams will be created dynamically each week based on number of players attending. Click Here for more information.

  • Games: Boys - 10:20am Saturday mornings; Girls - 9am Saturday mornings 

  • Practice: All grade 3-4 players will practice once a week in the same location. Practice days and times are determined by the volunteer coach.

  • Game Location: Rideout Field (both boys & girls)

  • Cost: $165

  • Uniform: All players in grades 2-8 wear a uniform jersey. Please go to Uniforms for information on ordering. 

Volunteering

Volunteers run the program; over 150 are needed each season.  Please volunteer when registering your child. For more information about becoming an InTown coach, please click here.

  • Be sure to update/add all necessary contact information specific to the volunteer listed in the form. This is the primary way we communicate all of our program information.

  • Volunteers are required to have a completed CORI on file with CCYS before working with players.  Click here for more information about CORI background checks and other requirements.

Late Registrations

  • There is a late fee of $25 for all late registrations (grades K-4).  If you are new to the program, you may request a one-time waiver of the late fee.

  • Placement priority is given to players new to the program. All others will be held on the waitlist and placed, if there is room, just prior to roster release.

  • Late registering players should contact your Age Group Director to see if there is room. We try very hard to place late registering players but team placement is not guaranteed.  .  

Registration Details

  • For Spring, registration typically closes mid March. For Fall, registration typically closes mid July.

  • All registrations include a $25 non-refundable administrative fee.

  • Credit and Debit cards are accepted.

  • Financial assistance is available.  Please fill out the fee waiver request form. Waiver requests are handled confidentially. Registrations are not complete until the fee waiver request has been approved by the CCYS. 

  • Partial refunds may be granted for withdrawal. Click hereto see our refund policy. No refunds for non-medical reason are granted after teams are released.

  • All registrations include a non-refundable administrative fee.

Questions

  • Possibly — our approach depends on the player’s age group and how teams are structured within each division.

  • For our youngest players, we understand that starting soccer can sometimes feel new and a little overwhelming. Some children may be more comfortable having a familiar face on their team, whether that is a friend or a preferred coach.

    Because all Pre-K and Kindergarten teams meet at one central location for skills, games, and activities, we may be able to accommodate these requests when possible. While requests are not guaranteed, we do our best to consider them for this age group.

  • By Grade 2, our focus shifts more fully toward creating balanced, community-based teams rather than school or friend-based rosters.

    Teams are intentionally formed by mixing players from multiple schools — typically two schools per team — to encourage players to build friendships across the broader community.

    Because of this structure, friend requests for Grade 2 are generally not accommodated. With limited roster flexibility and many competing requests, honoring friend requests often creates challenges in maintaining fairness and balanced teams.

  • Our goal is to create a positive experience for all players by:

    • Building balanced teams

    • Encouraging new friendships beyond school or neighborhood groups

    • Helping players feel part of a larger community soccer program

    • Supporting fun, learning, and healthy competition

    We appreciate your understanding and support as we work to create the best possible experience for all players and families.

  • We do our best to keep teams as consistent as possible from fall to spring, especially for younger players who benefit from familiar teammates and coaches. However, team rosters may change between seasons due to shifts in registration numbers, coach and volunteer availability, and overall team balance.

    For Grade 2, there is an additional transition in the spring season as the program moves from 5v5 to 7v7 play. Because of the larger team format, rosters are combined and teams become bigger, which may result in more noticeable roster changes.

    While we understand that players enjoy staying with teammates and coaches from prior seasons, our primary goal is to create balanced teams and provide the best overall experience for all players.
