Club Organization
CCYS is a non-profit organization run mainly by the parents of our players. We rely heavily on our parents to take on leadership roles including coaches, assistant coaches, managers, age directors, directors and president as well as other roles within the club. Parents may volunteer when registering players by clicking on the Volunteer button. These volunteers work together to execute our club's mission of providing soccer to boys and girls in the communities of Concord and Carlisle. While the majority of our time is spent setting up and conducting business of the season, some of these volunteers also serve on our Board of Directors. The Board is responsible for the administration of the club's mission. As such, they meet monthly to execute club business. These meetings are usually conducted on the first Monday of each month and are open to all our members. We welcome your participation.
Programs
CCYS has three programs; travel (Grades 3-12) in-town (Pre-K to Grade 6) and Winter (Grade 3-8). General information is listed below about practices and uniforms. Our programs are run separately and have differing requirements. For details about each of these programs, click here to go to the Program Information page of our website.
Practices
For our Travel and In-Town programs, generally practices are conducted during the week during the season. In-Town practices once per week (except for Pre-K) and Travel practices twice per week. Practices are set by coaches about three weeks prior to the season opening and may take place in either Concord or Carlisle. For more details about practices, click here to go to the Game and Practice Info page.
Uniforms
CCYS does supply uniforms for the players. Travel players are required to wear matching uniforms which include a black and maroon shirt, black shorts and black socks. These may be purchased during the registration process. In-Town requires players only to purchase a reversible shirt (except for Pre-K) and may be purchased during registration. Black shorts and black socks are optional and may be purchased separately from local sports stores. Our winter program does not have any uniform (clothing) requirements. However, shoe that slide on a gym floor and worn for only indoor use onlyare required.
